Outstanding Employees for April 2019

04/16/2019

Please join us in congratulating Mats Kleb as an Outstanding ABC Care Employee.

Mats joined the ABC Care team in April 2018 as an Assistant. Mats worked summer 2018 at Eldersburg Adventure Camp as a lead counselor. He frequently filled in at swim instructor as well on Tuesdays and Thursdays. The campers loved having Mr. Mats with them as he kept the days full of fun, played games, and made sure they were always safe.

In November 2018 he was promoted to Assistant Teacher. He attends CCBC pursuing a IT degree and works five afternoons at Sacred Heart with the Seniors group for 4th-8th graders. Mats is exceptional at interacting with the Senior group! He plays board games, leads activities and is active in the gym and outside each day.

Mats has assumed more responsibilities this winter and spring at Sacred Heart with the Seniors group. He takes roll each day for his group, follows the lesson plans for activities and takes time to talk, and more importantly listen, when they have something to share.

Mats has increased his availability to work as the need for additional staff in the mornings has changed! Mats wants to provide a fun afternoon for children and looks for ways to keep them engaged and busy.

Mats is a great asset to ABC Care! He demonstrates the ABC Culture by being able to provide creative and fun programming activities and enjoy (s) interacting, and playing games with children.

Please join us in congratulating Robin Lamdin as an Outstanding ABC Care Employee.

Robin started with ABC Care in 2007-12 years ago! Robin has been a loyal, dependable and hard-working staff member over her tenure. She always puts childrens needs first and has made lasting relationships with children and families over the years. This is the 2nd year Robin has attended a musical to see one of her Eldersburg students and her family perform. This year it was The Addams Family.

Robin recently agreed to a change in her morning schedule, working in Mt. Airy at our Parrs Ridge location since we have been using managers to fill the opening. Robins experience and leadership is much appreciated as she helps another center in need of staff to care for our children.

Robin enjoys playing board games with the children and creating projects at the arts & crafts table. She takes time to talk with parents and goes beyond Hello! each day finding out how families are doing with the day to day hustle and bustle of life.

Robin is a great asset to ABC Care! She demonstrates the ABC Culture by being able to provide creative and fun programming activities and enjoy (s) interacting, and playing games with children.
