Piney Ridge Elementary School

The ABC Care Center at Piney Ridge is a three-time nationally accredited and MD EXCELS Level 3 program. The center offers creative, hands-on activities in both STEM and the arts, encouraging students to explore and think outside the box.

Students can choose from engaging rotations that include construction manipulatives, dramatic play, and a designated homework area. Hands-on experiments spark curiosity and inspire exploration of special topics, while cooking activities add a fun and interactive element to their day.

Children enjoy supervised free time on the school’s large playground, blacktop area, and in the spacious gymnasium—with extra outdoor time whenever the weather allows. And of course, everyone looks forward to the weekly dance parties, a favorite tradition that gets kids moving and having fun together!
