ABC Care Center – Gerstell Academy
At the ABC Care Center at Gerstell Academy, children benefit from a structured daily schedule mixed with teacher-led and student-led activities. Our program provides homework assistance, supervised free play and team games in the Wilson Room and outdoor playground. Children enjoy activities from doll houses to super hero figures, and take part in a variety of themed arts and crafts and STEM experiments during morning and afternoon sessions.
I have been part of the ABC Care team since 2019. I have also worked as a substitute teacher for CCPS and teach swim lessons. Working with children truly feels like my calling, and it is such an honor to watch them learn, grow, and discover who they are.
At ABC Care, I have the wonderful opportunity to guide and support children during some of their most important years of development. Being a small part of their journey and helping shape the adults they will become is incredibly rewarding.
Outside of work, I love spending quality time with my husband and our son, who is turning two this year! As a family, we enjoy hiking with our dog, Maestro, and playing music together. In my free time, I also enjoy swimming, drawing, and painting.

- From Westminster, take MD-140 East (Westminster Pike) toward Finksburg and continue for approximately 6 miles. As you enter the Finksburg area, turn right onto Old Westminster Pike. Continue a short distance, and Gerstell Academy.
