Julie Troxel joined ABC Care in December 2019 as Office Manager. A graduate of Towson University with a degree in Kinesiology, Julie previously served as Office Manager and Executive Assistant at LifePoint Church. Julie has over 10 years of office management experience. She previously owned a fitness facility and training studio. Julie resides in Taneytown with her two daughters. When she is not at work, she enjoys exercising, living a healthy lifestyle, reading, traveling and adventuring with her girls.
Vicki Timberman joined ABC Care in 1993, and ascended the ranks to District Manager in 2005. In this capacity, she oversees the Eldersburg sites as well as the Programming Team for ABC Care and serves as Site Director at Piney Ridge Elementary, a position she’s held since 1999, and Co-Site Director at the ABC summer camp in Eldersburg. Vicki studied at Carroll Community College and completed numerous continuing education and professional development training programs. A resident of Eldersburg, Vicki enjoys spending time with her husband, and middle-school-age daughter and elementary-school-age son, both of whom attended ABC Care programs, and her beagle. She enjoys hiking, photography and volunteering at Piney Ridge.
Since 2009, Meghan Murphy has served ABC Care as a District Manager, overseeing 9 locations and the Licensing and Regulation Team for ABC Care. She also serves as District Manager for ABC’s summer camp in Westminster at Deer Park. When Meghan visits the centers, her favorite thing to do is to run around the gym and play games with the kiddos. Employed with the company since 2005, Meghan served previously as Site Director at the Parr’s Ridge Elementary location when it first opened. Meghan earned an Associate of Arts degree from Montgomery College and has completed coursework in child development and psychology. She resides in Mt. Airy with her husband and high-school-age twin sons, and enjoys spending time with family, watching her sons’ sporting events and walking their twin dogs.
Kristine Gesuele is Senior Manager for ABC Care. She joined ABC Care in 2006 as a Site Director and worked as a Substitute Site Director at many ABC Care Before and After sites. In 2011, Kristine was promoted to her present position as Senior Manager. In addition to her Senior Manager responsibilities, Kristine oversees the work of ABC’s Professional Development Team. Kristine holds a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Frostburg State University and a Master’s degree in Library Sciences from McDaniel College. Before she joined ABC Care, Kristine worked in child care and also taught elementary school. Kristine lives in Manchester with her husband and two daughters, who attend Ebb Valley Elementary and the ABC Care Ebb Valley Before and After Care Program. Kristine enjoys camping and is a talented baker.
Robin Pierson is the Owner of Always Believe in Children and Founder and Executive Director of ABC Care, Inc. which operates 11 school age child care centers and three summer camps. With over 30 years of experience as a childcare business owner and educator, Robin has true understanding of the needs and interests of school age children and their families. A wife and mother of two daughters, she appreciates the value of balance between family and career. Robin received a Bachelor of Science degree in Early Childhood Education at Towson State University and completed graduate coursework in management and supervision at Loyola College in Baltimore. She also has provided educational presentations for the National AfterSchool Association and Carroll Community College, Training Day for Early Childhood Professionals. Robin enjoys spending time with her granddaughter, hiking, reading and watching movies.
Our Staff
ABC Care school-based and summer camp programs hire supervisors and staff members who demonstrate necessary experience and skills for working successfully with children, including enthusiasm, compassion, patience, and respect.
