Carroll County Public School Families

On October 19th, we will begin the second phase of this great adventure known as School Year 2020-2021.  Schools are preparing to move to the Hybrid Model which will change our program as well.  We will offer both Before/After Care and All Day Learning Care.  Before/After Care will be at the schools on Monday/Tuesday and again on Thursday/Friday. The All Day Learning Care with virtual learning support, will be Monday-Friday and held at Deer Park United Methodist Church, 2205 Sykesville Road, Westminster, Maryland 21157, with very limited availability. All spots will be on a first come, first serve basis, with those currently enrolled having priority.

If you are already using our services for virtual learning and want to continue using any or all services, you need to submit a registration for hybrid schedule, however;

  • there is no additional registration fee
  • all enrollment documents will transfer to your hybrid registration

If you are registering for the first time this school year, you will need to submit a registration for hybrid and/or all day learning care as well as

  • pay the registration fee
  • submit all enrollment documents

Because spaces are VERY LIMITED at our Deer Park All Day Care learning facility, we are exploring other options to be able to provide service for additional families on the All Day Virtual Learning days.

Please feel secure in the fact that we continue to follow CDC cleaning protocols. We have provided safe, socially distanced care since schools opened in September. We have adapted our programming and will continue to provide the high-quality care you have come to know and trust from ABC Care.

We look forward to helping your child adjust and flourish during this time. They are and always will be, our number one priority.

As part of the new design, children will be divided into 2 cohorts and remain in those cohorts for the day. Please make sure you read all the new guidelines and protocols. These can be found in the Parent Manual and the COVID-19 Guidance for Child Care facilities on our website.

We are excited to return to our child care sites and although the day may look different than it did back in March, you will still find the high quality you have come to know and expect from ABC Care. We look forward to welcoming your family back for the school year 2020-2021.
